Comely Bank (Georgian Townhouse) - Edinburgh

Edinburgh Project Management - Residential - Comely Bank (Georgian Townhouse) - 1A

The owners had engaged an interior designer who we had worked with before. She suggested getting EPM involved as early as possible, allowing us to involve the Architect and Structural Engineer to deal with the building’s settlement issues as a priority.

We managed the application process as the plans included various changes to the original layout and correcting some noticeable structural issues. The drawing room floor was 15cm higher at one end than the other – all windows on the front elevation were slightly rhomboidal and this was quite a challenge for our flooring team and joiners!

This interior-design led approach streamlined the decision-making process and was handy in this case because the owners were very busy due to work commitments. A few of our projects include interior designers, but mostly we work directly with the owners.
